This month we’re in Mexico! We cook Mexican food all the time, and since it’s rather usual in our house, I kinda forgot to take pictures of making it or anything like that………….
When I have better internet connection than I do at this hotel, I’ll find all of our recipes I’ve shared here. Our usual go to recipe for having people over is fajitas, but our local grocery store, HEB, makes a wonderful fajita mix that we just have pick up and grill. I make some guacamole and grind up some cheese and we’re all happy as clams.
But, this post isn’t just about my love of fajitas, no…… I ACTUALLY HAVE A CRAFT THIS TIME!
I know, you’re all falling over in shock. But I do. So, here ya go:
At the end of October Mexico and many Hispanic cultures will celebrate the Day of the Dead.
It’s a day to celebrate those you knew who have died, and we decided to remember Uncle Sam who died a few years ago. I pulled out a picture of each of them with Uncle Sam and my scrapbooking paper, stickers, and scissors and let them have at it.
They happily cut, glued, cut some more, and stickered their pictures to their hearts content after they were all done I took pictures of their projects.
